Scholarships

Scholarships for 2020-2021 are now available. Deadline to submit is February 22nd and September 1st 2020. Scholarships are given twice yearly when funds are available. Scholarship availability will be announced one month before applications are due each year on February 22 and September 1 for the given year. Grants

Currently we have two ongoing grant programs for Wrightwood Community Garden members. See details below.

School Plot Grant Hoop House Project:

Wrightwood Community Garden is offering assistance to the two local schools who have existing plots in the WCG. The goal is to provide labor and materials for building a hoop house for the school plot. School must submit a letter, written by one or more of the students at the school, explaining why their school would benefit from a hoop house. Hoop house paid for and installed.

Deadline: September 1st

Individual Plot Grant Hoop House Project:

Wrightwood Community Garden is offering assistance to individual plot members at the WCG. The goal is to offer assistance to low income individuals and families and provide a hoop house for growing food. You must be a current member of the garden to apply. Application must consist of a letter explaining your need for a hoop house and a narrative description of financial need.

Deadline: Ongoing, apply at will, ends at fall closure of garden

Grant subject to availability of funds.
